We at the Freedom Instinct Theatre(or FIT for your acronym-loving fetishites) are dedicated to exploring the basis of two extreme polar opposites of theatre: improvisation and scripted work. Through our examination, we hope to seamlessly integrate the two into a form of theatre never before seen with complete physical, meta-physical, emotional, psychological, and sexual (Ooo la la!) interaction with the audience and performers. 

 

The eight of us gather together to discuss the foundation of theatre, the similarities and differences of styles, and how we can link them together to create theatre that feeds off and interacts with an audience instead of presents to them. All while still telling a story.  After we intellectually break it down, we get on our feet, and test it out, experiment, and feed off of our impulses and instincts to create real, honest drama.
